Job summary

The Learning Experience is hiring a Nursery Kitchen Assistant for our Greater London centres. You will support meal service, help with food preparation, and maintain high kitchen hygiene in a busy nursery setting.

We value attention to detail, good time management, and clear communication with staff and parents. Prior kitchen experience is preferred and training on food safety will be provided if needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support the Chef during meal service by assisting with food preparation and delivering meals to rooms.
• Wash and sanitise kitchenware and preparation areas.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised and nursery compliant.
• Assist with safe storage of food and kitchen supplies.

Role Overview

This position is essential in maintaining high standards of hygiene across the nursery and supporting the Chef with meal service. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing kitchen duties and ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment for children and staff.
