Job summary

Bright Horizons Stourton nursery in Leeds is seeking an Early Years Housekeeper on a full-time basis to cover maternity leave for 10 months. You will keep the nursery clean and safe for children, assist with daily laundry, and support mealtimes.

The role requires prior cleaning experience, Food Safety Level 2 or above, COSHH and health and safety knowledge, and strong communication with colleagues, children and parents. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property.
• Food Safety L2 or above (or equivalent) – this must be passed on day 1 in post.
• Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements.
• Great communication skills, with colleagues, children, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Keep the nursery clean and safe for children, colleagues and families.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in bathrooms and changing areas.
• Carry out daily laundry and support during mealtimes and with equipment cleaning.
