Job summary

St Luke's Catholic Academy in the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Multi Academy Trust is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for Nursery. You will provide safe, high-quality education and care, acting as key person for named children and liaising with parents to meet each child’s needs.

Responsibilities include curriculum planning, record keeping, basic first aid, and setting up/clearing the playroom daily. NVQ Level 3 in EYFS or equivalent is required; Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK are

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in EYFS or equivalent.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Medical clearance.
• Satisfactory references.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality education and care to Nursery children.
• Set high expectations so every child achieves in a happy, creative and caring setting.
• Act as key person for named children.
• Liaise with parents and carers so each child's needs are recognised and met.
• Assist with curriculum planning and record keeping.
• Administer basic first aid as required.
• Set up the playroom for the daily programme and tidy away at the end of the session.
