Job summary

Your Care Jobs Ltd is currently seeking an Early Years Practitioner for a full-time, permanent role in Walthamstow Village, London. The successful candidate will work term-time (39 weeks) from 7:45am to 4:15pm, delivering high-quality care and supporting young children to develop within the EYFS framework.

Requirements include Level 3 Early Years qualification, such as NCFE CACHE or Diploma in Early Years, at least 2 years' experience with children aged 9 months to 4 years, strong English, and

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification, such as NCFE CACHE or Diploma in Early Years.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children aged 9 months to 4 years.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Genuine passion for working with young children.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Accurate record-keeping skills.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Providing a safe, secure and nurturing environment for children.
• Acting as a Key Person for a group of children.
• Observing children and planning activities around their individual needs.
• Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS.
• Building positive relationships with families and colleagues.
• Attending staff meetings and training sessions.
• Contributing to the overall smooth running of the setting.
