Job summary

Thrive Leyland Meadows in Leyland is seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our flexible supply team. You will provide safe, nurturing care for children aged 3 months to 5 years and support learning through play across indoor and outdoor environments.

We welcome Level 2 or Level 3 EY qualifications; the role offers flexible hours on a zero-hours contract with pay of £13.45 per hour and access to funded training and development.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification required.
• Experience with childcare and learning through play is valued.
• DBS check and safeguarding training will be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing and engaging care for children aged 3 months to 5 years
• Support and deliver stimulating learning experiences through play and planned activities
• Promote children's individual learning and development
• Support daily routines, activities and holiday cover
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Work effectively as part of a skilled Early Years team
• Promote the health, safety and wellbeing of all children
• Follow nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding requirements
• Act as a positive role model for children and colleagues

We are looking for passionate and dedicated qualified Early Years Practitioners to join our friendly and experienced team on a flexible supply basis.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care, learning and development opportunities for children aged 3 months to 5 years. You’ll have the opportunity to work across both indoor and outdoor environments, creating stimulating experiences that support children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
