Happitots Paisley! (Glasgow Airport) is seeking Nursery Assistants on a flexible zero-hour contract. We welcome both qualified and unqualified applicants and offer training opportunities funded by Thrive. Your role focuses on providing high-quality care, supporting learning opportunities, and working with families to promote children’s development in a warm, supportive environment.

• Assist with learning opportunities and care to help children develop.
• Be engaging and energetic with the children.
• Cover holidays and provide staff cover while gaining on the job experience.
• Provide care and learning to enable children to progress and prepare for school.
• Safeguard and promote health, safety and welfare of children.
• Work with colleagues, parents and carers to meet each child’s needs.

As a Nursery Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Assist with learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop.
• To have an engaging and energetic personality.
• Covering holidays and help provide staff cover whilst gaining on the job experience!
• Provide effective care and learning that enables children to progress and prepare them for school.
• Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children.
• Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children.
