Job summary

Thrive Happitots Cumbernauld is seeking an Early Years Practitioner on a flexible hours supply basis. The role welcomes applicants whether qualified or unqualified and offers funded training, DBS checks, and a supportive team in a vibrant outdoor-focused nursery.

You will help deliver safe, engaging activities for children aged 3 months to 5 years, support daily routines, and contribute to a safeguarding-first environment while pursuing career progression within Thrive.

Qualifications

• EY qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS checks are required and safeguarding training is provided.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing of children.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, engaging learning experiences for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
• Support the team in daily routines and holiday cover.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Promote health, safety and wellbeing of all children.

£12.80 per hour, rising to £13.45 per hour for suitably qualified candidates.
