Grosvenor House Day Nursery and Pre-School, part of the Family First Nurseries Group in Nottingham, is hiring a Nursery Deputy Manager. The role requires a Level 3 Childcare qualification, 40 hours per week, and a passion for delivering high-quality care and education to young children.

You will lead a dedicated team, ensure EYFS compliance, manage medications and care plans, and contribute to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification — Essential
• Leadership experience — Essential
• Over 1 year experience in Early Years — Essential
• Over 1 year experience in a management position — Desirable

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times.
• Understand and ensure that the EYFS requirements are met throughout the nursery.
• Assist in managing the administration of medication and ensure care plans are up to date.
• Provide stimulating experiences with age-appropriate environments and resources.
• Promote respect and credibility through effective communication and consistency.
• Inspire staff with creative ideas to achieve outstanding practice.
• Maintain accurate records on EyMan system relating to children and staff.
• Undertake other duties to ensure smooth running of the nursery.

• Understandand ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFSare met throughout the nursery.
  
• Assistin managing the acceptance and administration of medication and ensurecare plans are thorough and up to date for children or staff with healthconditions.
  
• Ensurethat all children receive stimulating and purposeful experiences,environments and resources that are appropriate to their age and stage ofdevelopment.
