Job summary

Little Elms Daycare Beckenham is seeking a Deputy Manager to support the Nursery Manager in daily operations while ensuring a safe, stimulating environment for children and staff.

The role requires leadership experience, Level 3+ Early Years qualification, and strong EYFS knowledge. Excellent communication and mentoring abilities are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of leadership experience or equivalent.
• Level 3+ or higher qualification in Early Years childcare.
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS & Statutory framework.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to use your own initiative and show passion in day-to-day interactions with children.
• Coaching & mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager in the overall running of the nursery.
• Ensure a safe, stimulating and educational environment for children and staff.
• Lead and mentor junior staff and coordinate daily operations.
• Assist with safeguarding and DBS-related requirements.

About the Deputy Manager role

We are currently looking for a skilled, experienced and motivated Deputy Manager for our beautiful nursery in Beckenham. This is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Room Manager to take the next step in their career or a current Deputy looking to take on a new exciting role. The day-to-day role will include supporting the Nursery Manager in the overall running of the Nursery, whilst providing and ensuring a safe, stimulating and educational environment for the children and staff.

Our Nursery offers state-of-the-art facilities, combining bright and spacious indoor rooms along with fabulous outdoor areas.

You can earn up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, working 40 hours per week,

To be considered for the Nursery Deputy Manager role you must have:

• At least 1 years’ experience in a Leadership role or equivalent
• Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years childcare
• Excellent knowledge & understanding of the EYFS & Statutory framework
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

You can earn up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, working Full time (40 hours per week) – 4 days a week.
