About the Deputy Manager role
We are currently looking for a skilled, experienced and motivated Deputy Manager for our beautiful nursery in Shirley. This is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Room Manager to take the next step in their career or a current Deputy looking to take on a new exciting role. The day-to-day role will include supporting the Nursery Manager in the overall running of the Nursery, whilst providing and ensuring a safe, stimulating and educational environment for the children and staff.
You can earn up to £39,000 per annum, depending on experience, working 40 hours per week,
To be considered for the Nursery Deputy Manager role you must have:
Support the Manager – Assist in the day-to-day running of the nursery.
Staff Supervision – Lead, motivate, and support the team.
Safeguarding – Ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
Curriculum Delivery – Support planning and delivery of EYFS activities.
Parent Partnership – Build strong relationships with families.
Compliance – Maintain nursery policies and meet Ofsted standards.
Cover Leadership – Step in for the Manager when required.
