Job summary

The Learning Experience UK in East Finchley is hiring a Nursery Curriculum Room Leader to guide the room's EYFS curriculum and ensure high-quality early years provision. You will lead learning activities, monitor progress, and collaborate with families to support children's development.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and child protection.

• Commitment to delivering the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and evaluation of the room's curriculum in line with EYFS principles and the setting's curriculum intent.
• Ensure a clear progression of learning, building knowledge and confidence in the curriculum with the team.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment in line with EYFS standards.
• Monitor, record, and celebrate milestones in children's development.
• Communicate effectively with families to build strong relationships.
• Lead and support colleagues to maintain high-quality care and learning.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies.

Salary: Up to £34,778 per year (depending on qualifications & experience)

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Your Role
