Job summary

Co-op Childcare at Little Pioneers nursery is seeking a Cook to lead nutrition within the kitchen, preparing and serving healthy meals and teaching children about balanced eating. You will work with the team to maintain high standards and comply with food safety policies.

Qualifications

• An Enhanced DBS check is required (costs covered).
• Food Hygiene level 2 or equivalent.
• Sound knowledge of food safety, HACCP and COSHH requirements.
• Experience in catering for large numbers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve healthy, nutritionally balanced meals for nursery children.
• Support families to encourage healthy food choices for children.
• Ensure compliance with Food Standards Agency and relevant safety standards.
