Shooting Stars Nurseries in Worcester is seeking an experienced Nursery Cook/Chef for a temporary role starting immediately. You will plan, prepare and serve healthy meals for children aged 0-5, with attention to nutrition, allergies, and safety.

Working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:00pm, £15.20 per hour. This temporary contract is expected to last about 2-3 months. You'll join a friendly team in a purpose-built setting.

Formación

• Experience cooking for nursery or childcare settings is essential.
• Ability to plan menus that meet dietary and allergy requirements.
• Experience managing stock, costing and food safety records.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks for ages 0-5.
• Create menus meeting nutrition and allergy needs.
• Order supplies, manage stock and monitor costs.
• Maintain high kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
• Complete food safety records and documentation.
• Collaborate with nursery team to provide positive mealtime experiences.
