What’s involved?

As the Nursery cook, you will prepare breakfast, snacks, lunch, and tea for 84 children and 35 staff members. All menus are specially created by a nutritionist to cater to all needs and dietary requirements. The nursery food menus are meat-free but pescatarian, and everything is made fresh on-site. You must have a good understanding of cooking fish/shellfish and vegetarian dishes. Your responsibilities include ordering, stock rotation, health and safety, risk assessment, COSHH, and kitchen management.
