Les Petites Etoiles Nurseries is a group of 5 private bilingual nurseries located across North London. Our nurseries are situated in the vibrant neighbourhoods of Angel, Crouch Hill, Paddington, Tufnell Park, and West Hampstead. For over a decade, we have been dedicated to providing exceptional childcare services in an enriching and nurturing environment.
We are looking to hire an experienced nursery cook who will work across all our 5 locations to cover the main nursery chefs when they are on annual/sick leave. The right candidate will also have some childcare experience to cover nurseries’ needs in the classrooms when necessary.
This is a full-time permanent position where the candidate will work half year in the kitchen and half in the classroom.
You will be solely responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen. This will include the preparation of an entirely organic set menu plan (provided by the school) which consists of a morning snack (chopped fruit), preparation of lunch and an afternoon snack (varying from smoothies to sandwiches).
You will be working across all rooms where ages range from 6 months to 4 years. You will support the room leaders and team within the rooms, giving you great experience as a practitioner and enhancing your development.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for caring for the children, supervising their daily activities, and organising and preparing activities and materials.
Children and young people should never experience abuse of any kind.
