Family Adventures Group is seeking a reliable cleaner to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic nursery environment for young children. The role involves cleaning 2-3 hours each evening, Monday to Friday, contributing to health and safety for children and staff.

Work is in the nursery setting with 12 hours per week, paying £12.71 per hour. The successful candidate will follow cleaning procedures, report issues and support high standards of hygiene and safeguarding.

Qualifications

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking cleaner who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment for young children.

Working 2-3 hours each evening (Monday to Friday), you will help ensure our nursery is cleaned to a high standard ready for the next day, supporting the health, wellbeing and safety of the children and team.

Key responsibilities

• Cleaning nursery rooms, play areas and shared spaces.
• Emptying bins and maintaining tidy learning environments.
• Wiping and disinfecting surfaces, tables, toys, touchpoints and kitchen areas.
• Cleaning toilets, nappy changing areas and replenishing supplies.
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Ensuring cleaning products are stored safely and securely.
• Reporting low stock, maintenance issues or any concerns to management.
