Job summary

Woodlands Daycare | Oxted is seeking a Nursery Cleaner to join our part-time team. The role focuses on keeping the nursery clean, safe, and welcoming for children, families and staff. 10 hours per week, 6:30pm–8:30pm, Monday to Friday, with additional flexibility for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and maintaining playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
  • Sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, and emptying bins.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting children's bathrooms, nappy changing areas, and high-touch surfaces.
  • Supporting laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organising nursery linen.
  • Assisting with washing up and maintaining cleanliness within kitchen areas.
  • Following Health & Safety, COSHH, infection control, and safeguarding procedures at all times.
  • Monitoring cleaning stock levels and reporting replenishment requirements.

The role:

As Nursery Housekeeper, you will help maintainthe highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery.Responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communalareas

  • Supporting periodic deep cleaning tasks as required
  • Working closely with the nursery team to ensure a safe and welcomingenvironment for all
