You will work in a modern kitchen, ensuring high standards of hygiene and compliance with food safety regulations, while collaborating with nursery staff to accommodate dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cooking role (2 years preferred).
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Creativity in meal preparation for children.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Valid Food Hygiene certificate.
• Enhanced DBS check.

Responsabilités

• Plan diverse menus catering to nutritional needs of young children.
• Prepare and cook meals for up to 50 children daily.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with nursery staff to accommodate dietary requirements and allergies.
• Engage children in cooking activities to enhance understanding of food.
• Manage kitchen supplies, including food ordering and inventory control.
