We are looking for an experienced Nursery Chef to join the team in Oxford, working 35 hours per week from 8:45 to 16:15, Monday to Friday. This role offers many benefits as it is part of a university. You will be working in a well-established, friendly team.

The successful candidate will have a passion for creating wholesome, nutritious, and inviting meals for young children. You should be organized, efficient, and responsible for ordering, cleaning schedules, and adhering to the ‘Safer Food Better Business’ protocols. Although working independently, we encourage the Chef to feel fully part of the wider nursery staff team and to work collaboratively to create a positive dining experience for the children.

You will be:
– Preparing nutritious and tasty meals for children aged 0-5
– Providing for children with various dietary requirements
– Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
– Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met.

You should have:
– Food Hygiene certificate
– Good organizational skills
– Previous experience cooking for large groups
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
