Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience with Nursery or Early Years-aged children.
• Warm, patient and enthusiastic about child development.
• Good safeguarding and children's welfare understanding.
• Reliable, proactive and team-friendly.
• Must be able to commute to Berkhamsted.

Responsibilities

• Support children with learning, development and day-to-day activities.
• Help create a positive, stimulating and safe learning environment.
• Encourage communication, confidence and independence.
• Assist with observations and records of children's development.
• Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming classroom.
