Job summary

Grandir UK Limited is recruiting a part-time Nursery Assistant for our Little Monkeys Day Nursery in Horsham. You will support children during lunch and rest periods, helping them settle, learn and thrive in a caring, child-focused environment.

Our Little Monkeys Day Nursery in Horsham, is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team over the lunchtime period. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

Working hours will be approx 11.30am-2.30pm Monday to Friday

What You Will Be Doing

• Supervise and support children at all times, mainly during lunch and if relevant sleep time
• Ensure mealtimes are a supportive and safe period of time
• Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified practitioners
• Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment for the children
• Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors and colleagues
• Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required
