Job summary

Little Monkeys Day Nursery in Horsham, part of Grandir UK, is looking for a cleaner to help maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery. Join a supportive team with regular pay reviews and a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Carry out light cleaning and gardening duties around the nursery and outdoor areas.
• Support the kitchen team with washing up and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
• Support the room teams during lunchtime, including serving meals and washing up.
• Manage the nursery’s daily laundry requirements, including washing, drying and organising laundry.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as required to ensure essential supplies are maintained.
• Oversee and support the management team with COSHH documentation and ensure records are kept up to date.
• Complete daily room checks and replenish essential supplies, including hand soap, paper towels, flannels, bed linen and other consumables.
• Carry out deep cleaning of nursery equipment and resources, including highchairs, in line with the nursery’s cleaning procedures.

Daily Tasks Will Include
