Job summary

Nurseplus is recruiting a Nursery Assistant to provide high-quality care in nursery settings across the local area. You will cover short or long-term placements, support children's development, ensure safety, and encourage learning through play.

The role offers flexible shifts (days, evenings, weekends), weekly pay at £13.15/hour, and access to training and development opportunities. A valid right to work in the UK and driving is required.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 and have the right to work in the UK.
• Experience in a nursery or childcare setting preferred but not essential.
• NVQ Diploma Level 2 or 3 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily schedule for nursery activities.
• Assist with feeding, toilet breaks, rest times, and promoting a safe, clean environment.
• Plan and support learning activities in collaboration with the team.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and assist with record keeping.
