Job summary

Nurseplus is seeking a Level 2 - Qualified Nursery Assistant to provide high-quality care in a nursery setting across the local area. You will cover day-to-day care, support children's development, safety, and learning through play.

Ideal candidates are 18+, hold NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education, have good English, and can obtain a DBS on registration. The role offers flexible shifts and weekly pay at £14.75 per hour, with ongoing training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Diploma Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Early Years Education.
• You must be over 18 years old and have the right to work in the UK.
• A clear enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the daily care, supervision, and wellbeing of children within the nursery setting.
• Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and stimulating environment that meets health and safety standards.
• Championing the nursery's values and ethos to create a nurturing and positive atmosphere for children.
• Providing guidance and support to fellow team members, helping to lead by example and ensure best practice across the nursery.
