Job summary

Nurseplus UK Ltd is seeking a Nursery Assistant to provide high-quality care in a nursery setting across the local area. You will cover short or longer-term placements, support children's development, and help them learn through play, within a compassionate team focused on making a difference.

You must be over 18 with the right to work in the UK and have or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS. NVQ Level 2/3 is desirable and English proficiency is important.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK (over 18).
• Good standard of English and ability to communicate effectively.
• NVQ Diploma Level 2 or 3 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily schedule and routine tasks (feeding, toilet, rest) ensuring a clean, safe environment for children.
• Collaborate with team to plan and run educational activities and learning through play.
• Follow health and safety regulations, conduct risk assessments and assist with record keeping.
