Job summary

TeacherActive is working with an Ofsted Outstanding private day nursery in Tunbridge Wells. A Level 2 Early Years Practitioner is sought for flexible full-time or part-time shifts, primarily in the baby room, with opportunities to work across the nursery as needed.

You will hold a Level 2 Childcare qualification or equivalent and have experience supporting babies and young children. The role rewards a caring, nurturing approach, a positive can-do attitude, and flexibility across rooms.

This warm and welcoming setting is dedicated to providing exceptional care, creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can thrive, develop independence, and build a love for learning through play and exploration.

This nursery is looking to take on a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner on either a full-time or part-time basis, with both long-term and short-term opportunities available to suit individual availability. The successful Early Years Practitioner will be primarily based in the baby room, supporting children s early development, while remaining flexible to work across the nursery to meet the needs of the setting. There are both full-day and half-day shifts available, offering excellent flexibility, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right Early Years Practitioner.

The successful Early Years Practitioner will have:

• A Level 2 Childcare qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience working within an early years setting
• A strong understanding of how young children learn and develop
• A caring and nurturing approach to supporting children
• A positive can-do attitude
• Flexibility to support across different rooms when required
