Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioners to support private day nurseries across Alfreton and the DE55 area. Roles offer flexible day-to-day, part-time or full-time opportunities with progression into long-term or permanent employment.

You'll plan activities aligned with EYFS, support children's learning through play, and build strong relationships with children, parents and nursery teams while ensuring safeguarding and high-quality childcare standards.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years
• Previous experience working within a nursery setting
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child development
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliability, flexibility and a genuine passion for Early Years education

East Midlands/ contract / £14.25 - 15.00 per hour

Qualified Nursery Practitioner - Alfreton, DE55

TeacherActive is looking for Level 2 and Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioners to work within lovely private day nurseries across Alfreton and the surrounding DE55 area.

Supporting children's learning and development through play

What We're Looking For

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years

Previous experience working within a nursery setting

Knowledge of safeguarding and child development
