Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting a dedicated Nursery Assistant for a welcoming nursery in the NP20 area (Newport).

The role is full-time and long-term, with immediate or flexible start dates to suit you, and offers consistent working hours. You will support children's learning through play, help with daily routines, and work closely with Early Years staff to create a safe, engaging environment where every child can thrive.

Competenze

• Experience working with young children in a nursery or school setting.
• Patient, caring approach and enthusiasm.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant childcare qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 (desirable).
• DBS check (Enhanced DBS preferred or willingness to obtain).

The Role

Nursery Assistant Requirements

• Experience working with young children in a nursery, childcare, Early Years, or school setting.

• A genuine passion for supporting children's development.
• A relevant childcare qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare (desirable but not essential).
• An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
