Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking an Unqualified Nursery Assistant for flexible day-to-day cover in Portishead. You will support children across nursery rooms, assist with daily routines and play-based learning, and contribute to the children’s development in line with the EYFS.

Immediate start and ongoing opportunities are available in a busy Early Years setting. Experience with children and a genuine interest in Early Years are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children
• Interest in the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• Confidence supporting children with play, learning and daily routines
• DBS on the update service or willing to purchase one
• Caring, enthusiastic and reliable attitude

We are looking to recruit an Nursery Assistant for flexible day-to-day cover, supporting children across different nursery rooms and age groups. With the opportunites to be placed into a long term position. The successful Unqualified Nursery Assistant will assist qualified practitioners with daily routines, play-based learning, engaging activities and supporting children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Previous experience working with children

• Confidence supporting children with play, learning and daily routines
• A DBS on the update service, or be willing to purchase one
• A caring, enthusiastic and reliable attitude
