Job summary

Showcase Training in Hythe is offering a Nursery Apprentice role in a friendly local nursery. You will train for a hands-on role while progressing toward Early Years Practitioner Level 2 or Early Years Educator Level 3 apprenticeships.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, stimulating atmosphere for children to develop emotionally, socially and educationally.
• Provide all aspects of care for children under supervision (washing, changing and feeding).
• Act as key worker for a small group of children and record observations and planning.
• Complete Apprenticeship work as set by Showcase Training Assessor.
• Assist with meeting personal and emotional needs of individual children.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
• Follow nursery policies and procedures.
