Job summary

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship programme in childcare with formal training.
• Wage starts at £8 per hour, with progression after 12 months.
• Travel to employer daily is required.

Responsibilities

• Create warm, friendly and stimulating atmosphere for children.
• Assist with care tasks including washing, changing and feeding.
• Act as key worker and record observations and plan for a small group.
• Complete all Apprenticeship work as directed by the Showcase Training Assessor.
• Support safeguarding and promote the welfare of children.
