Job summary

Ashburton House Nursery in Weybridge is hiring a Nursery Apprentice who is passionate about working with children and ready to pursue the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship.

You will join a friendly team, support planning, observations and assessments, and help maintain safeguarding and a stimulating EYFS learning environment.

The role offers a 38-hour week, Monday to Friday, with training provided by Realise and opportunities for progression after the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level.
• Some experience working with babies or children under five.

Responsibilities

• Act as key person for a group of children.
• Support planning, observations, and assessments.
• Ensure safeguarding, welfare and wellbeing of all children.
• Create a safe, stimulating learning environment per EYFS.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
