Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager (days) for Thames House in Rochdale. You will lead a dedicated team of nurses and care staff, ensuring person-centered care and high clinical standards.

This senior role reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager and focuses on quality, risk management and continuous improvement. As a Registered Nurse with an NMC PIN, you will manage clinical elements, supervise medications, and maintain safe, effective care plans.

Qualifications

• First-level nursing registration with a valid NMC PIN.
• Management or supervisory experience or training.
• Proven ability to lead nursing teams and manage care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing and care teams to meet medical, physical and emotional needs of residents.
• Provide strong leadership to maintain high standards of care and drive improvement.
• Oversee clinical elements and risks, care plans and risk assessments.
• Act as Named Nurse for residents with oversight of care profiles and documentation.
• Supervise medication ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording and disposal.
