Job summary

Exemplar Health Care, located in Preston, is seeking a Unit Manager (RGN, RMN, RNLD) to lead the care teams at Ribble View care home. In this full-time role, you will ensure high standards of clinical care and oversee all aspects of your unit, while driving quality and performance.

As a leader, you’ll support your team in delivering person-centred care for adults with complex needs, with opportunities for growth and development in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Natural role model managing a team of Registered Nurses, Nurse Associates and Health Care Assistants.
• Post-registration and management experience with a valid NMC PIN required.
• Good standard of digital skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead care and nursing teams to meet medical, physical and emotional needs.
• Maintain high standards of care and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee unit’s clinical elements, care plans, and risk assessments.
• Act as the Named Nurse for assigned residents.
• Manage medication handling and administration.
