Job summary

South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust is recruiting a Deputy Team Manager for the Richmond Integrated Recovery Hub. You will support clinical and operational leadership, deputise for the team manager, and supervise staff while working as a care coordinator with a reduced caseload.

The role requires mentorship qualifications and an NMC registration in mental health or learning disability nursing, with evidence of CPD and reflective practice.

Qualifications

• Mentorship qualification is required.
• Current NMC registration as mental health or learning disability nurse or equivalent.
• Significant clinical experience in mental health.
• Experience as a preceptor or mentor.
• Experience of research-based or reflective practice and CPD.

Responsibilities

• Support the team manager with clinical and operational leadership and deputise during their leave.
• Supervise staff and lead junior staff and the wider care team.
• Work as a care coordinator with a reduced caseload.
• Deliver recovery-focused nursing care and coordinate patient-centred plans.
• Lead on fundamentals of care and provide emotional and social support.
