Zusammenfassung

Ridgeway Secure Inpatient Services within Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Staff Nurse for secure inpatient care. The role focuses on assessment, treatment and recovery-oriented care for adults with mental health conditions, learning disabilities or autism in a secure setting.

The post requires RNMH or RNLD registration with NMC and offers flexible hours with rotations and occasional nights.

Qualifikationen

Evidence-based knowledge of best practice in mental health care.
Understanding of the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.
Knowledge of safeguarding and its application in practice.

Aufgaben

Plan and deliver evidence-based care with patients and their families.
Assess patients’ needs and provide timely interventions.
Assess risk and maintain patients’ dignity, privacy and safety.
Follow relevant mental health legislation and safeguard patients.
Administer and store medicines safely.
Work collaboratively with prison colleagues, probation and Ridgeway services.
