The role involves gatekeeping, risk assessment, rapid assessment and intervention, shift coordination, bed management, supporting juniors, and delivering high-quality care in a community setting with flexible 7-day shifts and a strong development plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide gatekeeping function as detailed in Operating Procedure.
• Deliver rapid and holistic assessment, care and signposting of individuals with serious mental health issues.
• Act as Shift Co-ordinator and Bed Manager for the local area.
• Organise and deliver rapid intensive intervention services for adults with serious mental health crises.
• Support junior nursing staff with supervision and development per Trust policy.
