Job summary

Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 6 Nurse Practitioner for the Central Home Treatment Team in Preston. You will provide short-term, intensive community-based care for adults with mental health needs, focusing on recovery and safeguarding during crisis.

You will work flexibly across a 7-day pattern, supporting junior staff, conducting supervision, and contributing to personalised development plans. Induction and appraisal are provided.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with Band 6 level experience in mental health settings.
• Experience delivering crisis intervention and community-based care.
• Ability to oversee junior staff and provide clinical supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessment and crisis intervention in a community setting.
• Lead and coordinate shifts as Shift Co-ordinator.
• Deliver high-quality care while managing risk and safety.
