Job summary

Parkside Family Practice are recruiting a dynamic Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team in a busy GP surgery serving a patient population of over 16,500. You will deliver safe, effective, evidence-based nursing care and drive clinical excellence across two practice sites.

You will guide staff, manage chronic diseases, immunisations, smear tests, and vaccination programs, ensuring governance, quality standards and staff wellbeing are prioritised.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification at degree level or equivalent.
• RMN or RNLD with NMC and PIN.
• Qualified RN.
• Extensive clinical experience.
• Up to date knowledge particularly in long term condition management and all treatment room skills.
• Understanding of Clinical Governance.
• Compassionate leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of nurses in GP surgery setting.
• Independently assess, diagnose, treat, refer and discharge patients.
• Undertake chronic disease reviews (Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Heart Disease, Hypertension).
• Manage infection control and stock across two sites.
• Ensure accurate and legible notes and maintain QOF targets.
