Story Terrace Inc. in Stafford is seeking a Lead Practice Nurse to provide clinical leadership and day-to-day coordination of the nursing team while maintaining a direct patient-facing role.

You will work within a GP-led organisation, leading nursing services, managing chronic disease clinics, immunisations and service improvements, reporting to the Practice Manager. The role requires experience as a Practice Nurse in primary care, NMC registration, and strong leadership and communication skills

Formación

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience as a Practice Nurse in primary care.
• Experience in chronic disease management, including diabetes, hypertension and respiratory.
• Qualified cervical screening sample taker.
• Trained in immunisations and vaccinations, including childhood vaccines.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team and coordinate service delivery.
• Coordinate workload, allocate duties and ensure safe staffing.
• Support induction, supervision and professional development of nursing staff.
• Lead on infection prevention and control and clinical governance.
• Develop care plans and contribute to continuous improvement.
