Job summary

Empowering U Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our nurse-led complex care team in Lichfield. You will support a female client with MS and mental health needs, providing personal care, mobility support, and compassionate companionship to help maintain independence and dignity at home.

The role requires at least 6 months’ care experience, a Full UK driving licence, and DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• At least 6 months' experience in a care or support role (essential).
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic IT skills for completing electronic care records.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and catheter care.
• Support mobility and safe transfers.
• Administer medication as per care plan.
• Support daily living activities and appointments.
• Provide emotional support and monitor wellbeing.
• Maintain care records and communicate with the team.
