Job summary

TLC Care is seeking an experienced nurse to deliver high-quality care in our care home in the United Kingdom. You will provide leadership to the care team, assess and develop care plans, and coordinate with residents, GPs, relatives and carers to ensure holistic wellbeing.

Role focuses on medicine administration, adherence to NMC guidelines, and maintaining accurate records while promoting dignity, safety and compassionate, person-centred care for elderly residents.

Qualifications

• NMC RegisteredNurse with a valid NMC PIN is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and delegate effectively.
• Strong communication skills at all levels within a multidisciplinary team.
• Genuine interest in working with the elderly residents.
• Satisfactory DBS and DBS Adult First checks.
• Team player with the ability to work across a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the care team and supervise shifts.
• Assess, develop and evaluate individualized resident care plans.
• Administer prescribed medicines in line with NMC guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and engage residents, relatives and GPs.
• Uphold infection control and safety policies within the home.
• Mentor student nurses and carers; participate in mandatory trainings.
