Job summary

Hazelbrook Care Home in Leicester is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our newly commissioned team delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care for residents with advanced dementia and complex needs.

You will assess clinical needs, develop and review care plans, oversee safe medication administration, and provide clinical leadership to the care team in a calm, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
• Experience supporting individuals with dementia, complex nursing needs or mental health conditions desirable.
• Strong clinical knowledge including medication management and care planning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, professional and resident focused approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ clinical needs and develop personalised care plans.
• Review and update care plans to reflect changing needs.
• Ensure safe medication administration and monitor health changes.
• Provide clinical leadership during shifts and support colleagues.
• Promote dignity, comfort and high-quality resident care.
