Job summary

Hartford Care Ltd. at Hafod Y Green Nursing Home in Denbigh, North Wales, is seeking an experienced Home Manager. You must be a qualified nurse with an active NMC pin and proven experience in complex care, rehabilitation, and nursing management.

You will oversee clinical governance, CIW compliance, and day-to-day operations, manage staff, and drive person-centred outcomes while safeguarding residents and supporting families. A pension, DBS, and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified nurse with current NMC registration.
• Experience as registered manager within Wales with CIW requirements.
• Experience working with adults with complex care needs.
• Proven ability to confidently lead a team.
• Compassionate and caring with a commitment to residents’ wellbeing.
• Excellent communicator with staff, residents, families and professionals.
• Organised and reliable managing competing priorities.
• Good IT skills with electronic care records and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall running of the home, ensuring high standards across care, operations and financial management.
• Ensure CIW requirements are met and exceeded.
• Promote safe, personalised services through assessment and person-centred planning.
• Manage the staff team involved in management and direct care.
• Ensure a cost-effective, coordinated approach to service provision.
• Maintain an effective quality assurance programme for continuous improvement.
