Job summary

SJB Medical is seeking a Functional Assessor to join our UK centre network. You will apply your clinical judgement to carry out functional assessments and produce clear, high‑quality reports, with regular hours and no night shifts or weekend work.

You must be a registered healthcare professional with at least 12 months post‑registration experience and no current practice restrictions. The role offers structured training, multidisciplinary support, career progression and a generous benefits

Qualifications

• Be a registered healthcare professional (Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist).
• Have at least 12 months' post-registration experience within the last 5 years.
• Have no current restrictions to practice.
• Demonstrate strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional assessments and produce clear, accurate, high-quality reports
• Use clinical judgement to assess a wide range of physical and mental health conditions
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate records in line with clinical governance and quality standards
• Engage in ongoing training, CPD, and clinical supervision
• Deliver assessments with empathy, professionalism, and integrity
