Job summary

MAXIMUS in Cardiff is seeking a WCA Registered Nurse for a hybrid role combining clinical assessments with case management input. The position offers both full-time and part-time options, with a Monday to Friday 9am–5pm schedule and a hybrid working model.

Applicants should be a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or RMN, with at least 1 year post-registration experience and the right to work in the UK. Training is provided with ongoing mentorship and CPD opportunities to support professional

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration number.
• At least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship cannot be provided.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand impact on daily life.
• Produce Work Capability Assessment (WCA) reports for DWP eligibility decisions.
• Develop clinical knowledge with regular feedback and supervision.
