Job summary

Maximus UK is recruiting a WCA-registered nurse for a hybrid role in Newport. The position involves conducting assessments to evaluate how disabilities affect daily living and producing WCA reports for DWP decisions.

The role offers flexible full-/part-time options, ongoing training, and diverse CPD support within a supportive team. You must hold NMC registration and have UK work rights with no sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC registration number.
• At least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience.
• You MUST have the right to work in the UK – we cannot offer sponsorships.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects their daily life
• Produce Work Capability Assessment (WCA) reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine a person’s eligibility for benefits
• Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with the support of regular feedback and supervision
