Job summary

SJB Medical is recruiting a Functional Assessor to perform clinical assessments and generate clear, high-quality reports for health-related benefit applications. You will use your clinical judgement to evaluate a range of physical and mental health conditions while working within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Be a registered healthcare professional (Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist)
• Have at least 12 months' post-registration experience within the last 5 years
• Have no current restrictions to practice
• Demonstrate strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills

Job description

• Guaranteed £2,000 salary uplift within your first year (subject to approval milestones and contract)
• One-off approval bonus of 5% of salary
• Up to 10% annual performance bonus based on quality and performance

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

About the role

As a Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical expertise in a new and rewarding way, carrying out functional assessments that support individuals applying for health-related benefits. This role allows you to apply your clinical judgement while enjoying regular working hours, no night shifts, and no weekend work.
