Job summary

SJB Medical in the United Kingdom is seeking a Nurse Functional Assessor to join our multidisciplinary team in Luton. You will conduct functional assessments that support health-related benefits applications, applying clinical judgement in a role with regular hours, no night shifts, and no weekend work.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills

Salary: GBP40000 - GBP50000 per annum + + approval bonus & benefits

Location: Luton

Additional pay & bonuses:

• Guaranteed £2,000 salary uplift within your first year (subject to approval milestones and contract)
• One‑off approval bonus of 5% of salary
• Up to 10% annual performance bonus based on quality and performance

Working pattern:
Full‑time, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Part‑time hours available

About the role

As a Functional Assessor, you’ll use your clinical expertise in a new and rewarding way, carrying out functional assessments that support individuals applying for health‑related benefits. This role allows you to apply your clinical judgement while enjoying regular working hours, no night shifts, and no weekend work.
