Alderwood Care Home in Colchester is seeking a Registered Nurse (Days) to provide compassionate, high‑quality care for our residents and to develop and maintain electronic nursing care plans.
You will supervise the care team, dispense and record medications, manage stock, and ensure compliance with Health and Safety and the Care Standards Act.
The ideal candidate will hold a valid NMC pin and bring a warm, supportive approach to building meaningful relationships with residents and their families.

As our Registered Nurse (Days), you’ll be responsible for all care and nursing needs of our residents’. You’ll formulate, implement and regularly maintain electronic nursing care plans and will be very experienced at this. You’ll supervise the delivery of care by the care team and will identify training and development needs. Your warm, supportive, and caring nature will help you build meaningful relationships with our residents’ and you will get to know everything about their likes and dislikes as well as their care and nursing needs.
